CONSUMER BUYING TRENDS
Despite economic challenges affecting consumer sentiment globally, the evidence-based health and wellbeing industry continues to thrive, driven by increased health awareness post-Covid. Healthy ageing, in particular, stands out as a critical focus area.
HEALTHY AGEING
Consumer interest in functional foods and nutraceuticals for Healthy Ageing is a core focus of growth, based on a rapidly ageing population, with a spotlight on compounds that support health and vitality.
Healthspan vs Lifespan is the measure of wellbeing success. In a recent study, a group was asked if they would rather be 25% healthier vs live 25% longer and overwhelmingly, they said we want to be healthier. Statistics show by 2050 one in four people will be over 60 in Asia Pacific.
