Ageing

The secret to staying young

While we can’t do anything about getting older, we may be able to make changes to the way we age. Have you ever stopped for a moment to think about whether you should have an anti-ageing regime from your body?

Ageing begins on the inside, and it is a process that we cannot stop. However, there are various factors that contribute to and potentially speed up the ageing of our body from the inside out, and can affect our overall health.  Through various nutritional and lifestyle interventions, there are ways that we can develop our own anti-ageing regime for our body, to reduce our risk of developing serious illness and to ensure that we spend the rest of our lives as happy and healthy as possible.

Move every day

This is the most important habit to incorporate into your everyday life. Aim to walk, run or swim for three to five hours every week. The benefits of exercise for your body are countless, from lowering blood pressure to improving blood flow and strengthening your heart muscle. Everyone should aim to be moving for 30 minutes per day, and if this seems unachievable, break it into two chunks – 15 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes in the evening.

Be happy

Taking an interest in, and being part of, your family, friend’s or even neighbour’s lives can add years to your life, plus you’ll be happier and healthier. Make the time and effort to stay in touch with friends and socialise with people who are positive and fun to be around.

Take a powerful antioxidant

The benefits of taking Ubiquinol are numerous. As we get older we’re more susceptible to disease and illness. Our bodies use more energy to help our bodies either fight off or prevent these diseases, which drains the available amount of Ubiquinol our body has available. This may then lead to tiredness, brain fog and an inability to recover well after exercise.

While we put many of these symptoms down to ’old age‘, feeling this way may be an indication that your Ubiquinol levels need increasing.  Ubiquinol’s main benefit is to the heart. Many studies have shown ways in which CoQ10 supports heart health, as CoQ10 and its more active form, Ubiquinol, play a vital role in supporting cellular energy. They are concentrated in organs that require the most energy, such as the heart, kidney, liver and muscles. i, ii

Speak to your healthcare practitioner to discuss the benefits of Ubiquinol supplementation. Always read the label. Use only as directed.
